God has led us in understanding that our
Women’s Ministry should have a new look; that
He was the one who provided for the growth of our Women’s Ministry. He is the Vine,
with a branch producing the Women’s
Ministry of Fortified with fruits of Age
to Age, Events, Prayer, Merge, Outreach/Encouragement, MOPS, Bible
Study, and Worship.
Won’t you join us in remaining in
Him, abiding in His grace, love and
provision in all things and allowing Him to produce much fruit He has prepared
you for such a time as this. If He
is leading you to be a part of our
Women’s Ministry at Fortified please
give one of us a call, email or catch us
at church and let us know. We are here
to serve Him and to do what we can
through Him to serve the ladies of Fortified
Hills.

Our H.O.P.E. Ministry prayer team is looking for women who have a heart for prayer that would enjoy being a part of
the Women's Prayer Ministry. We will meet monthly on the first Tuesday of each month beginning August 3, in the Fortified
Prayer Trailer from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Ladies, our prayer ministry desire is to come alongside you to pray, and encourage
you in your walk with the Lord. Please let you prayer needs be known by placing your prayer request in the
Prayer Box on the Women's Ministry table.
Please contact Vicki DeLozier (victoriadelozier@bellsouth.net) or Denise Davidson (dewey271@cs.com) if you would
just like to have a time of prayer with us.
We look forward to all God has for us as we seek the heart of God together!

Psalm 78:4b "we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done."
Merge Ministry strives to create an environment and activities that:
- Bridge the generational gap between the youth girls and women of Fortified Hills Baptist Church.
- Build relationships with young women within and outside of our church body.
- Foster an opportunity for spiritual growth, evangelizing the lost in our community, and passing on
the wisdom of God's love, involvement, and will in this life.
Upcoming events:
December 3, 2010 Christmas Party for 6th grade through college age. Time TBA in the FHBC Fellowship
Hall.

“Declaring God’s love and faithfulness to all generations” Psalm 89:1
- His Command…Jesus said “go and make disciples”. Age to Age is based on the instructions found in Titus 2:3-5 (NCV) which states, “Teach the older women to be holy in their behavior, not speaking against others, or enslaved to too much wine, but teaching what is good. Then they can teach the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be wise and pure, to be good workers at home, to be kind, and to yield to their husbands. Then no one will be able to criticize the teaching God gave us.
- Their Need… is a spiritual cry among the women of this generation to be shown “how to live the Word of God”.
- Their Struggles…are feeling lost in the clamor of the church. Many who once were spiritually strong are voicing a desire to be refreshed and strengthened in their walk with the Lord.
- Our Purpose… is to be faithfulness to God’s instruction to “declare God’s love and faithfulness to all generations”.
- Our Confidence… is found in the promise of Isaiah 61:9 – “Their descendants will be known and honored among the nations. Everyone will realize that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”
- His Mentors…are women who are more spiritually mature from years of experience and faithfulness to God.
- His Mereas…are the recipients of a mentor’s counsel, prayers, teaching and encouragement.
- Our Pastor’s opinion… “Jesus set the example of how to do ministry when He spent most of His time teaching His disciples. The Master plan of evangelism is mentoring. We follow Jesus’ example by reproducing ourselves in others. The Christian life is “Caught” as you get around someone that has that spiritual commitment to Jesus. For that reason, I whole-heartedly endorse the Age to Age Mentoring Ministry” – Dewey Davidson, Sr. Pastor, FHBC.
- A Mentor’s Opinion… “If you want to see the hand of God in your life, I would strongly encourage you to prayerfully consider entering into a mentoring relationship. You’ll be amazed at how God will use the relationship to take you to a whole new level of faith in Him” – Tiffany Frachiseur.
- A Merea’s Opinion… “Age to Age is about sharing the jewels of Christ with those who come after us: parading the Crowns of the Holy Spirit before a crowd of one – a precious merea, who might one day join in the procession of giving and receiving the Holy Treasure of Christ“ – Felecia Ligon.
- Your involvement… is offered twice a year. Sign-up is in January and June. Each session lasts 6 months and begins with an informational meeting for more information and a time for questions and answers.
Be sure to read the Age to Age article in the Women’s Ministry Newsletter.
